Word to PDF: convert DOCX documents to PDF

Turn Word documents into PDFs that look the same on any screen or printer, with tables, images, and page numbers kept in place.

Accepted formats: DOCX, DOC, RTF, WPD, WRI, TXT.

Fonts that are not embedded are replaced with free fonts of matching size. Documents set in Aptos or Segoe UI may end up with shifted lines or a different page count.

How to convert Word to PDF

  1. Add files

Choose one or more Word documents from your device, or drag them onto the upload box. The accepted formats are listed just below it.

  2. Convert

Press Convert. Each document runs as its own job, so progress shows per file and a document that fails does not hold up the rest.

  3. Download

Download each PDF as soon as it is ready, or download all of them at once.

Frequently asked questions

Why do lines in the PDF shift slightly from my document?

Fonts that are not embedded in the document are replaced with free fonts of matching size, such as Carlito for Calibri. Aptos and Segoe UI have no size-matched equivalent yet, so lines and page counts can shift. Embedding the fonts when you save the document in Word prevents this.

Are macros in the document run?

No. Macros, scripts, and links to outside files are switched off when the document is opened on the server, so only the content visible on the page is converted.

Can I convert many documents at once?

Yes. Add several documents together and each one becomes its own PDF. The size limit per document is shown on the upload panel and matches what the server checks.
