Frequently asked questions

Why are HEIC photos uploaded to make a PDF?

The PDF is put together on our server, like every other PDF tool on this site. The photos and the PDF are deleted automatically after a short retention period. Turning HEIC into JPG or PNG can still be done entirely on your device.

Why is the PDF larger than my HEIC photos?

A PDF cannot hold HEIC as it is, so each photo is re-encoded into a format that PDF supports. HEIC is a very compact format, so the result is often larger than the original photos.

Can HEIC and JPG go into one PDF?

Yes. Add HEIC photos together with JPG or PNG images; they are all placed in one PDF in the order of the list.
